Casper The Friendly Orb

THE DAY THE CAMERAS DIED!! What the heck? We captured Casper yesterday with no issues. Today Sami woke up and the cameras had stopped working. Not just one camera, but both cameras. The one in the living room and the one in her bedroom. Both plugged in to different power sources, both dead. Unable to reconnect, unable to log in. No power surges, no power outs that we know of, and the electrical outlets they were plugged in to are working properly. We tried plugging in other accessories with no issues. How does that happen Or is it our imagination, hmm? And consider this dismaying observation: They both died at the same time, which offers you this chilling challenge: to figure it out! Of course, it could be Casper! No cameras? We can't have that. So Sami went out and purchased a new pair of cameras. 1:03 am Amanda went into the kitchen to put a bowl away. You can see Casper when she is walking back. He appears in front of her as she turns to go into the bedroom and shoots down and to the right of her head. Sami spent the day moving furniture and setting up her new in-home office in her spare bedroom. She's very excited and thankful for the incredible opportunity she has been given. She so deserves it and is very excited to start her new job. When she finally finished at 2:30a, she got in bed and laid down for some Grey's Anatomy binge-watching. At 2:46a, you see a flash. The light that you see is the reflection of the television that is on Casper comes up from the back and up towards the ceiling, then disappears. Sami got a new job. Yay! When one door closes another opens. She is now waiting to start training and decided to come back home to get things set up. The two weeks away has allowed her to save some money so she could manage her bills till she gets her first paycheck. While she was away from the house, the camera did not trigger any motion and we did not get any Casper sightings. We had turned off the A/C to save money, so not sure if that's the cause, or if Casper followed her to my house. Don't know. She came back home Sunday afternoon and Casper triggered the camera and appeared again at 2:42a Monday morning. The camera does not pick up infrared during the day. Wish it did, but it's too bright out even with all the curtains drawn. I don't have any infrared cameras at my house, so I don't know for sure if he was here, but I do know we checked every day to see if there were any sightings at Sami's house, but none to be found. GUESSSSS WHAAAAAATTTTT! Casper's back!!! The last couple of weeks have been rough for Sami. Her work is going through ownership changes, and a lot of people have been let go. I think it's all about the money, they can get people in for less than what they promised to everyone in the negotiations. Last Monday, she was let go. It's sad because she really loved that job. But, you know, she'll find something better, and she'll love it just as much or even more. But for now, in the transition, and in an effort to alleviate financial damages to her while she is looking for new work, I had her close up her house, turn everything off, especially the A/C, and then come stay with me. At least those bills will be lower till she finds a job. So now her house is empty; no dog, no roommates, no visitors, no fans, no A/C, no Sami.
